"I was contacted by the President of the Chamber of Commerce in Polk County. He would like to talk to someone in the Cedartown, Rockmart, Aragon area about caching. He wants to develop some caching opportunities in the area in a way that would highlight the opportunity for Polk County and be an excellent way to increase caching potential in the area.

Contact me via my brownthrasher @ bellsouth dot com addy and I'll get you the name and number. This is a great opportunity. I'd really like someone that's got experience talking to business and governmental entities, if possible."

Have contacted her about this. Anyone want to help me get something together once we get more info?

Anyone know a good restaurant that can hold 25-30 folks in the Cedartown area? That might be a good direction to go to have the next meeting. Then we could invite him to the meeting and let him meet the gang.

One of the girls I work with "used" to live in Cedartown. I'll ask her tomorrow.

Great idea Gridlox!
Spoke with Hall Clan last night and got a few suggestions for eating places down there. El Nepol in Rockmart or Cedartown or 2 italian joints in Cedartown.

I now have the contact info and will try to call today.

Well, I sure am glad "you" got some leads.
I got zip! :(

The girl I was gonna ask is moving to Jacksonville, AL this weekend and I'd forgot that Friday was going to be her last day with us. It was so crazy around the shop on Friday that it didn't even cross my mind.

We were closed the Friday before Labor Day to give the construction, electrician, flooring, and tele-communications guys 4 days (including Labor Day) to come in and get what they needed to do to the old part of the building. (tear out 4 walls, remove the old flooring & ceiling, put down the new flooring and hang new cieling, and run the new computer networking & phone systems)
Before we left Thursday evening we had to store every piece of equipment, work tables, shelves, cabinets, computer desk, etc... into the new section that we just added on last month to double our building size. When we came back in on Tuesday morning we had half a day of nothing but moving things back and getting all the equipment back online so we could make signs. So, including Labor Day that means we were about 2.5 days behind in production!!
We've busted A$$ this week to get caught up, but things FINALLY smoothed out about mid afternoon on Friday. I was "fo sho nuff" glad to see this weekend get here!! :D

The coming week is gonna be a humdinger as well, because the construction guys are coming back to build shelving and display units for our new showroom/customer service area. And the painters will come in after they are done to put the final touches on the new paint job. So, that means we'll have to work around them. :(

Wish us luck!!
