We booked our room (Hampton Inn in Tullahoma) back in September. Today, we completed our registration on the new website. This sure sounds like it's going to be fun.

Has anybody thought about going up for the day?

Driving directions to Bell Buckle, TN
163 mi – about 3 hours 6 mins

They are one hour behind us, so we could probably leave at 6 am in the morning and get there before it started. Over at 6 pm so we could be back by 10 PM.

I would be interested in going up for the day and would split costs. I have a Ford Ranger Pickup Truck so if I drove only one other person would be able to go.

Looks like they've extended it a few days! :D
NOTE on the bottom of the menu on the lefthand side now says:
Registration closes at Midnight on Fri., May 1

Good! I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to pre-register since $$ is -0- for extras until payday. Friday Is Payday!! :D :D Whoo Hoo!!

I am registered and the Mrs. is also going to attend. Badge #'s 2596 and 2597. Did they start at #1 or 1000 ?
Will check out our tent to make sure it still works and then see if the KOA in Manchester has room.

The menu has been posted.
"Award-winning Tennessee Pulled Pork Barbeque, we will also have a limited number of pulled chicken options for those who do not eat pork, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Bread, Cookie and Drink are on the menu for sure, we also have some special items that the caterer is bringing day of."

That was my plan as well.
I'll be more than glad to drive. Actually, I'd prefer to drive. (Just feel more comfortable in my own vehicle - Weird, I know :? )
I've got a minivan that can hold 6 (7 if a few don't mind getting close & personal in the back seat!! LOL  )

Whew! I'd forgotten they were an hour behind us. At least we wouldn't have to be as rushed to get there and could grab a few roadside caches on the way.

about 3 hours 6 mins

 Depends on how many GHiPs & THiPs are on the highways!
Ooooh! That must include a few cache stops! LOL

Registered tonight!! :D
My bro-in-law (troublex2) is gonna ride up with me.

There is an outside chance now that we may be going to Chattanooga on Friday evening and then the rest of the way Saturday morning. We won't know until the weekend gets closer and if our family we're wanting to visit with is game for hosting us for the night.

Keep you updated on our travel plans as the date gets closer.

DEADLINE EXTENDED ONCE MORE!! :D

Did you miss the deadline to register for GeoWoodstock VII? Well, I have some very good news for you. Since it finally occurred to the half-trained monkeys running this thing that we can't place any orders over the weekend anyway, we have decided to leave registration open over the weekend. This is your last chance, we will absolutely be shutting down registration, badge editing, etc. at Midnight, Pacific time on Sunday May 3, 2009.
