Rome's New Earthcache

Cool! Rome has a new Earthcache!!

But...
 The requirements to be able to log it are a bit extreme in my book. :(
You have to determine the "rate of flow in feet per second" of both rivers??? (huh?)
How's about giving some information from a plaque or something from the park there to prove you were actually there. :?

However an estimate is an estimate?? If I said 5 or 55 feet /second would either be wrong on any given drought day? I guess I'd bring a good rod and reel and toss a heavy sinker to the opposite bank to measure the width. It allows for +/- ~75 adn 60' feet. But quite a bit to make the log. I hope it's picturesque area.

Yes, it's a very nice spot!
It has parks on both sides of the river with the big train trestle thats been converted to a walk bridge.
I grab some drive-thru for lunch and sit on the steps of Point Park here a few times a month when the weather is nice. But when the winter winds whip up it can get pretty nippy when they blow up river to the park!! BRRR!!

I guess one day I'll just have to bring my GPS to work with me and spend part of my lunch break doing the requirements to be able to log this one. :)
