You've got 1 hour of inactivity before you are "automatically" logged out.
I was writing up a long post tonight about some issues I think we need to be more aware of and got sidetracked from the computer for a bit. I came back about 30 minutes later and finished it up and hit the "Submit" button. Only to be taken to the log-in screen.
After logging back in I had lost the entire post I had worked on.
Apparently taking 1hr 15mins "Writing a post" and not clicking on any buttons is considered inactivity.
So, for future reference, if you are in the middle of writing a post and get distracted away from the computer before you can finish and submit it, "Copy" what you have written and then come back and start over by backing out and "Paste" what you have already written into a new window!!
Too late tonight to rewrite it.
Maybe if I have time tomorrow night I will try to retype it all again.
